What is planned

Interpreted alerts and opportunity watch

Alerts that a new paper exists are already available elsewhere. The plan is an alert that says what a new paper means for what SocioLens already records: whether it supports or challenges a claim, whether it answers part of an open question, and whether it covers part of a research opportunity you are working on, with a fresh check of whether that work has already been done. Each alert would be SocioLens's reading of the paper, marked as such, until it is checked against the source.

Commissioned opportunity briefs and evidence maps

For a question or a field you name: a dated brief with a fresh check of whether the work has already been done, possible research designs, data and the key literature in BibTeX. Or an evidence map of a country or a sector, made with the same method as the debates: claims, what they do not show, and what is still unknown.

Neither has a start date.
